Closing an exposed gap in the roof
The customer contacted Fox Roofing after noticing daylight through the attic. From the outside, a broken concrete roof tile had left a clear gap in the roof covering where wind-driven rain and debris could enter.
The damaged tile was removed and the affected section was repaired with a matching concrete tile, restoring the continuous roof covering.
- Visible opening assessed from the roof
- Broken concrete tile removed
- Replacement tile fitted into the existing courses
- Roof covering checked around the repaired section
Can you see daylight through your attic?
Daylight can indicate a gap in the roof covering, although some designed ventilation openings may also admit light. Avoid climbing onto the roof yourself. Call John to describe what you can see, or send photographs by WhatsApp so the next step can be discussed safely.
