Replacing damaged tiles found during inspection
Leaks can result from more than one defect. During this Loughrea inspection, a cracked tile was found on the main roof slope and another damaged tile beside the valley had previously been patched.
The defective tiles were removed rather than covered with another temporary surface repair. Replacement concrete tiles were fitted into the existing roof, with the valley-side tile cut to suit the junction and maintain the surrounding drainage path.
