Repairing storm-damaged natural slates
Storm damage had displaced and broken natural slates, exposing sections of the roof covering. The affected area was carefully opened so damaged materials could be removed and the roof prepared for repair.
Natural slates were reinstated to restore coverage, with careful work around the adjoining stonework, leadwork and ridge. The photographs below show the damaged roof, the repair in progress and the completed result.
