Installing a Velux roof window
A roof window needs careful integration with the surrounding roof covering to provide light while maintaining reliable weather protection. This Oranmore project included fitting the Velux unit and completing the adjoining slate and flashing details.
The photographs show the interior framing and insulation layer, the external flashing details and the finished slate work around the window.
